Derek Smith was employed as a freelance Newsreader within the Radio Forth Newsroom for over three years. Derek was always professional in his approach to the job, and i considered him to be a real asset to the station. He was quick and keen to learn, a good communicator, an excellent team player and well liked by his newsroom colleagues.
